While we’re on our 45 minute trip, I'll fill you in on the Exposition. It's located in the sparsely populated north Buffalo area and takes up 350 acres of land, including most of the Park (what 21st century people call Delaware Park). That's the south boundary. The west boundary is Elmwood Avenue, the east is Delaware Avenue. The northern boundary is created by the New York Central Beltline tracks, not far from Hertel Avenue. All the way around the grounds is a tall wooden fence a mile long on each side and a half-mile long on each end. The fence doesn't keep out the fence-jumpers, but when the Exposition police catch them, there's a write-up in the paper to serve as warning to others
