All states and Pan-American countries are represented within this building. California has a large proportion of the building. This week two kinds of cherries are on display, courtesy of the state of Oregon. They were picked in Oregon 12 days ago, traveling 3300 miles and the dark red bing cherries are as firm as when they were picked. The other variety, “Royal Ann,” a bright red cherry, is exemplified by fruit nearly the size of peaches
