The interior is finished, something the other buildings we’ve seen were not. The walls are red with green bronze panels, ivory details. The dome is gold with a red field and blue-green details.

For 21st century people, go to M & T Bank, the ‘gold dome’ bank downtown which opened in April 1901, and stand under the dome. The top that you can see is 85 feet above you. If you stand inside the Temple of Music and look up, the top is 59 feet above you.
