We’re boarding our city trolley now, conveniently near the New York Central Station. Trolleys are the way almost all Buffalonians travel throughout the city. The ride will cost us 5 cents, ($2.00). The trolley car is crowded, as they always seem to be, especially this year with the Exposition. One tourist was so irritated that he wrote a letter to the editor about the crowding on the trolleys:

In every one of these cars, people were hanging on by their eyebrows, jammed to the platform entrances, men, women, children and babies in arms, as well as flowers, flower pots and plants of all kinds, going I don't know where. Conductor said that was the usual Sunday thing. I wonder the people of the city stand it.
