Winslow Homer
Watercolor artist Winslow Homer created more than 40 watercolor
works in 1899 and 1900 in Bermuda
and Nassau. He was very satisfied with them and selected 21 pieces for display
at the Pan-American Exposition.
The group were inclusively titled "Scenes from the Bahamas and Bermudas"
without individual titles. The images
below are representative of those in his group of 40+ works.
