There is much, much more to be said about the gardens of the Pan-American. We haven't even talked about the hundreds of decorative planters and hardy vines planted on top of the pergolas to shade us, but we have to move on now. Let's walk the short distance to the formal entrance to the formal Exposition area and get our first look at it the way the designers intended.
