Here’s a more detailed look at that sculpture. There are 500 pieces of sculpture across the grounds. You could have an entire tour just about these temporary pieces of art! If you care to, there are people on the grounds selling books for a quarter that explain the meaning of the sculpture - every piece has a purpose and message. This piece is entitled "Chariot Race" and was made by a New York city sculptor, Frederic Roth. It shows a chariot driver in the midst of rounding the turn, his chariot tilting one way while he leans the other way to balance himself.
