In this corner of the Exposition grounds where we are is the 15-acre horticultural exhibit. These 200 outdoor beds – from 10,000 square feet to 100 square feet - complement the indoor shows of fruit and flowers of the Horticultural Building ahead on our right. We’ll spend a half-hour here and you can wander the rose garden with its 2000 hardy, rambler, polyantha roses; there will be at least 20,000 rose blooms of all types, most of them very fragrant. You can also stroll around the 35 canna beds, or 3,000 dahlias.
