The color of the water is the same emerald as the water going over Niagara Falls, and this color, termed “Niagara Green”, is repeated in decorative panels on all sides of the tower, contrasting with ivory used for the rest. On either side of the niche are statue groups. The left group is entitled, “The Great Waters in the Time of the Indians”, and the right, “The Great Waters in the Time of the White Man”.
