Just a note about the Midway. Directly below us is the bullring from the Streets of Mexico. No bulls are killed. The circular towers are cycloramas, one of the Civil War Battle of Missionary Ridge, the other of the Kilauea Volcano. You know how those operate, you sit in your seat and you are moved around the scenery. For 21st century people, Buffalo still has its permanent Cyclorama building on Franklin Street, thanks to Ciminelli Construction.

Two places we will visit are visible. On the left, past the Machinery & Transportation Building, beyond the Bazaar building with its many souvenir vendors, is Alt Nurnburg, just visible. And the ride we’re going on is here below and to the right, the Trip to the Moon.
